My name is Wayne Elise and I’m the CEO of Charisma Arts.  I’m always spouting off about how you should express yourself. Doing that makes you sexy, allows others to feel comfortable with you and builds your presence. Now it’s my turn, so here goes: I’m a professional communicator.

If you know where to look you can spot me performing on the streets as a busker and in the clubs as a comedian.  My advice and intuition have also made me sought out by comedians, magicians and variety performers as a special director who reshapes their acts to connect with audiences better, stronger and faster.

From Hobby to Profession

Going by the moniker “Juggler,” I expanded my resume to include giving dating advice and teaching live, in-field workshops for men meeting and connecting with women way back in 2001, and since then I’ve written about how improve your dating and social life in the New York Times and been featured in Blender, Esquire, Time-Out New York and a variety of other publications.  (You can find them all on my media page.)

When I got so busy traveling, teaching and living out of airports, I trained a group of instructors that live and teach in the US, UK, Australia and Germany to follow my teachings about personal communication and launched Charisma Arts.  My instructors teach a method of connecting with people that is based on the three pillars of Charisma. These pillars are:

1. Self-Expression

2. Getting someone to express to you

3. Advancing the relationship.

I am in this business because I enjoy teaching social skills and working with my clients.  We’re not perfect, but my staff and I are very good at our jobs. We spend most of our day thinking about and testing social interaction techniques.
