Wayne Elise

Wayne is our boss here at Charisma Arts so we have to say nice things about him. So here we go. He's the host of the UK , Channel Four network television program "Seduction School". We were proud of that show but disappointed we didn't see more of Wayne's quirky side. Let's face it, he's a man who rides a Vespa and goes around saying, "Ciao baby!" but isn't Italian.

We like Wayne's writing in magazines such as Esquire and Blender even though we don't actually read those magazines. Shhh, don't tell anyone. His workshops that teach guys how to better walk up and chat with the ladies were first written about in the New York Times in 2001. Back then he was teaching his philosophy and techniques all by himself. We wonder why it took him so long to wise up and hire us here at Charisma Arts. And he calls himself smart?!

Wayne is a a contributing author and character in the New York times best selling book, "The Game" by Neil Strauss. Have you read the chapter he wrote? It's surreal. Page 115, he wants us to tell you... oh, he's not smug. But seriously, the point of what he wrote is that the best "game" is played by being your real self. That is what we teach here at Charisma Arts. Being yourself in challenging circumstances is the sexiest type of confidence.

Wayne is also the founder and CEO of Charisma Arts: yeah baby, that's us! We love teaching high-level interaction skills all over the world. Well, sometimes the traveling is a bit much, but we love meeting people like you and helping you put across the great person who is yourself. Ah, but back to Wayne.

He is one of the most charismatic people we have met. We are not just saying that because he's our boss. Okay, maybe we are. Well, I guess you will just have to sign up for one of his seminars or come to one of his talks and find out for yourself. We do know that he goes around saying he is just a humble student of life who prides himself on his ability to connect with people by just being himself, and we do think that is pretty cool.

Besides this, Wayne has worked a few other jobs. He began his working life performing on the streets as a busker. He called his act the "Super Wayne Stunt Show."  Turns out, that is where the moniker "Juggler" originates. We had thought it was some sort of allusion to dating lots of women. Not sure if we are disappointed or relieved about that. In any case Wayne still likes performing the odd stunt and we sometimes catch him doing something dangerous and, in our opinion stupid, around the office - like this.

Wayne has also been sought out by comedians, musicians and variety performers as a special director where he helps to reshape their skills to connect better with audiences. That sounds fun. Hey Wayne, can you convince David Copperfield to quit being so weird?

When he is not staring at the ground muttering to himself we love listening to Wayne make conversation with strangers. It is inspiring to us to hear someone so good at rolling conversation. Though we wonder about a person who has spent so much time figuring out these details of human interaction, have him demonstrate his conversational skills with you sometime. We always learn something new.

Wayne spends all of his time on airplanes but officially lives in the Los Angeles suburb of Hermosa Beach. Oh yeah, and he likes cheesy Barry Manilow music.
